195th Forward Support Company
Welcome Home Ceremony

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the Welcome Home ceremony for the 195th FSC on Wednesday, December 07, 2011 at the National Guard Hanger in Lincoln Nebraska. We were honored to have been invited to their Deployment on January 6, 2011 and we will be there on Wednesday to Welcome them home from Afghanistan.

STAGE DATE: Wednesday, December 7, 2011

STAGE LOCATION: Hotel parking lot North of McDonalds and BP Gas. I-80 Exit 399, Airport Exit, Lincoln NE.

STAGE TIME: 1:00PM

PGR SAFETY MEETING: 1:30PM

CLUTCHES OUT: 1:45:PM

FLAG LINE: TBA - Flags will be provided

CEREMONY: 3:45 -tentative time

NOTICE: As of this posting, 1600hrs, 05 DEC 11, there has been only an approximate arrival time released of between 2pm and 6pm. The Ceremony is "tentatively" scheduled for 3:45pm. We will be allowed to stand ready inside the hanger where the ceremony will be held to stay warm and be prepared to form a flag corridor when the arrival time is announced. Ladies and Gentlemen, This is a little inconvenient for all of us but it pales by comparison when considering what our Homecoming Heroes have done for us.

Veteran - United States Army James Kuehn, 66

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by Jim Kuehn II, son, and the family of Veteran James Kuehn, 66, of Heartwell, Nebraska, to participate in his funeral service in Minden, Nebraska on Thursday, December 8, 2011, at the St Paul Lutheran Church in Minden, Nebraska.

U.S. Army veteran Kuehn served in country in Germany and Vietnam and was a member of the Heartwell Veterans of Foreign Wars.

STAGE LOCATION St Paul Lutheran Church, 206 Colorado Ave, Minden NE

STAGE TIME 1pm

PGR MEETING 1:15pm

FLAG/ HONOR LINE 1:30pm . Flags will be provided

FUNERAL SERVICE 2pm

Safety being paramount – ride only if conditions permit. The Nebraska Patriot Guard Riders have been recognized by the National Safety Council and the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety for adhering to and promoting motorcycle safety. Ride Alert – Ride Safe.
