Nebraskans Advisory Group (NAG) was formed in 2006 by Nebraska citizens concerned over the negative impact of illegal immigration on our families, communities, state and country. Our goal is to educate Nebraskans on the issues and encourage interaction with local, state and federal government officials to deter illegal immigration.

The term Illegal Alien is the Federal Immigration Laws definition of an individual who is in our country without authorization (8 U.S.C. 1324). The term is not derogatory but  should not be confused with Immigrant. NAG supports and welcomes Immigrants - those who respect and obey our country's immigration laws. Any study or survey that does not differentiate Illegal Aliens from Immigrants should be determined as misleading and invalid.

NAG is concerned with Illegal Aliens regardless of country of origin. While 93%(GAO) of Illegal Aliens in the United States are from Mexico, 7% are from other countries and we support the tightening of both our north and south borders.

NAGUpdates and Action Alerts are issued on an as needed basis.   We attend city council/county meetings, unicameral legislative public hearings, townhall meetings, rallies, the opposition's events and participate on debate panels and speaking engagements.
