Omaha By Design - Omaha by Design is a civic planning organization dedicated to the development, implementation and monitoring of urban design and environmental public policy in the metro.  In one section: People living spread out across our state/city is apparently inconvenient for the environment and automobiles are the bats in the belfry: The Urban Form & Transportation section of the Environmental Element seeks to help Omaha:

No need to make decisions because dec...isions are made by the "community" or village residents. Want to recycle your shared bathroom waste, work the community garden, provide the dinner once a week, requirement of work by each person in the "community/village"? Google Sustainable Community Living Videos THEN - google the National Building Museum - where skads of videos may be watched obout the new "communities". Here are just some catchy titles: In a series called "For the Greener Good"...DIVORCE YOUR CAR!....Can the Suburbs KILL YOU?....Community in the aftermath - Post Disaster Houseing (by FEMA). Facilitation: identify impediments/REMOVE impediments....Regulation: no longer a choice you MUST do it - going green, the carrot or stick?...Education by Design.... Home Depot has "partnered" with The National Building Museum 1 1/2 Million dollars....UTI the #1 supplier of construction equipment/supplies has partnered with them. The information is out there you guys - all you have to do is google it - the videos shown at the National Building Museum will make your hair stand up. One video even talks about removing people living in the suburbs into a condensed area and thus allowing more land to be federally protected or preserved for wildlife. Check it out for yourself!

FLOODING BY CORPS OF ENGINEERS/EPA - HOW MUCH CONTROL BY THE EPA?

The American Policy org explains it well in their Special Report "Sustainable Development". We also need to look into Omaha by Design - are they puppets for the EPA? We'll have to look into this more.    www.americanpolicy.org

 

If the EPA REFUSES and IMPEDES the Border Patrol from doing their job by denying or delaying access to "FEDERALLY PROTECTED LANDS" (Congressional hearings held a month ago exposed the EPA's responsibility) allowing Drug Cartels, kidnappings, child sex slave rings, illegal immigration and terrorist crossings to flow across our border for "environmental" reasons - why would they NOT be willing to flood citizen's homes and property for the sake of "saving the environment" in the Midwest?

I was privileged to attend a seminar in Omaha this past Saturday by Tom DeWeese, President, American Policy Center.  The subject was the UN sponsored movement aimed at Global Redistribution of Wealth, known as "Agenda 21" and "Sustainable Development."

This is not conspiracy.  ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability is a UN sponsored, global organization consisting of

"Over 1200 cities, towns, counties, and their associations worldwide comprise ICLEI's growing membership. ICLEI works with these and hundreds of other local governments through international performance-based, results-oriented campaigns and programs."

 

I scanned the list of global members and Omaha, NE is a dues-paying member.  The only Iowa members I noticed on the list were:  Dubuque, Iowa City, Johnson County, and North Liberty, IA.  I would not think this list is comprehensive or exhaustive.                   http://www.iclei.org/index.php?id=iclei-home
